He has been arrested for spending the last three years living in Gatwick Airport, London.
The man has pleaded guilty to charges, and confessed to eating, showering and sleeping at the airport for several years after he lost his job in 2004. He only left the airport’s south terminal in order to collect unemployment benefits.
His lawyer has said that the man only started using Gatwick’s facilities out of “sheer desperation”.

A second train service between Wrexham and London is due to begin running on a trial basis from December 2008.
Virgin Trains will operate the once a day service - outward in the early morning and returning early evening.
The two-and-a-half hour service to Euston, via Chester, was in response to customer demand and more services could follow, said Virgin.
It will compete with Wrexham and Shropshire’s direct service to London Marylebone which begins in the spring.
A Virgin spokesman said: “It will be introduced on a trial basis initially but more services on weekdays and weekends have not been ruled out if the trial is successful.”
The firm said it had been looking at the idea for some time and the new service would tie in with the launch in January 2009 of an hourly service between Chester and London.
Wrexham council leader Alex Roberts said: “This clearly shows the growth of Wrexham as a major business centre for north east Wales.”
Wrexham’s MP Ian Lucas said news of the new service was “a tremendous vote of confidence in the town”.

An extreme sport and music event is to be staged at Bathurst’s famous Mount Panorama race circuit from March 7 to 9.
Newton’s Playground will feature competitors from Australia and overseas in a range of downhill gravity sport disciplines including luge, downhill skateboarding, gravity bikes, in-line speed skating and freestyle skateboard sliding.
The sports will use some of the most famously hazardous sections of the Mountain circuit.
Various other on and off track sports will feature in the program, including slalom skateboarding, mountain bike road rash, carveboarding and dirtsurfing.
There will also be three separate mountain biking competitions, a BMX Big Air Dirt Dance competition and a freestyle skateboard miniramp jam.
There will also be a multiple airsport demonstrations of wingsuit flying and swooping directly over the festival site.
The festival’s music line-up will include Grinspoon, Gyroscope, Urthboy, Kid Kenobi and the Funky Punks.
